Adele Adams – Director
After gaining a degree in Food Science from Nottingham University in 1993, Adele started her career in technical management within the meat industry. She then moved into consultancy and training and began to specialise in HACCP and food safety management, achieving the role of Managing Director of a consultancy firm in 2000. As a Senior Lecturer at the University of Salford, Adele helped to establish their MSc in Food Safety Management. In 2003, Adele set up her own company to provide practical training and advice on how to get the best out of the HACCP principles. Adele regularly delivers a wide range of HACCP and food safety programmes, specialising in higher-level courses, to help teams become competent in HACCP techniques. She has also helped many large companies to remodel their HACCP systems in line with best practice, as well as being involved with several projects for the Food Standards Agency. With over 20 years of HACCP experience, Adele is well known for her engaging training and practical approach
Debbie Sullivan – Food Manufacturing Trainer
Debbie has over 15 years experience in technical and quality management in bakery manufacturing. She has worked closely with most of the major retailers and has contributed to Codes of Practice, as well as been instrumental in implementing these on site. Debbie has a special interest in allergen management and has lots of practical experience in this area. Debbie delivers a range of course for us and is involved in programme development and consultancy.
Gill Palmer – Food Manufacturing Trainer
Gill has worked in technical roles in the food industry since the early 1980s and has extensive experience within the food chain from primary agriculture and manufacturing to retailing. During her career Gill has specialised in food safety, quality management and legislative compliance, including food labelling. Gill has worked in a wide range of manufacturing environments in the dairy, meat, canning, confectionery and high risk chilled food sectors.
Judith Sunderland – Care Homes Trainer
Judith has a wide range of experience and has worked in hospitality, care and with food manufacturers. Judith also has experience of enforcement, which is an asset when working with catering and food service clients. Judith’s practical approach has helped many clients achieve higher standards and scores. Judith mainly delivers courses for our catering and care-based clients. She is also involved in consultancy.
Jessica Murray – Business Development Manager
Jessica is our Business Development Manager, helping to grow our business in to the future. Jessica has a degree in Pharmacology, and a background in Marketing and Category Management, working for large Card Manufacturers and Electrical Personal Care brands, in grocery, catalogue and pharmacy channels. She has been with the company since 2015 and has helped improve the company’s sales and marketing, website and much more!
Diane Lowis – Accounts Manager
Di is the most important member of our team as she looks after the accounts! Di has managed accounts for a range of businesses for many years and has worked with us since 2006. She has helped to grow the business form its much smaller start in 2003.
Helen Stockdale – Office Administrator
Helen is our Office Administrator, in charge of all the course preparation, processing examinations and sending out certificates (and much more!) She is a formerly a Food Technology Teacher working in schools around West Yorkshire. She has been with the company since the end of 2016 and has quickly established herself as a vital member of the team.
