Quality Improvement Training – what’s your next business focus?

We recently completed a quality improvement training project for a major branded food manufacturer.  Social media is being used more readily to contact major manufacturers and can escalate very quickly into a PR nightmare.

Social Media posts can quickly become a PR nightmare

It was delivered over 6 sites, the programme focused on increasing awareness of the potential impact of people’s actions or lack of action on quality.

This scenario-based workshop was highly interactive and included lots of breakout sessions to encourage open thinking and shared learnings.  Two workshops were set out – product quality and complaints, and Incident management.

The aims of the course was to have a better understanding of:

Customer satisfaction

Current compliant levels

What you can do to improve quality

The importance of getting quality checks right

How to react correctly when things go wrong

The programme was delivered site-wide and included engineers, production, quality assurance, technical and warehousing.  It was suitable for intermidiate to high level manager, helping to start from the top down on quality improvement.

The feedback was fantastic.  We’ve also had feedback that customer complaints have decreased since this training, and is on the way to a 2020 goal set by the wider companies business objectives.
