M&S Product Integrity:

Understand the concepts and principles of product integrity

The M&S Product Integrity course is aimed at suppliers who have just started their journey or want to revisit the fundamentals. Delegates will be taken through the new M&S ‘Protecting the Brand’ Integrity Manufacturing Standard, and given an understanding of how the requirements can be met, including practical methodology, which could be used to carry out the required risk assessments.  Each course delegate will receive two text books “Assessing Threat Vulnerability for Food Defence” and “Assessing Error Vulnerability for Food Integrity

Please note, this course is for M&S Suppliers only.  Every delegate/company site will be validated by M&S before the booking can be confirmed.

Course content:

The outcomes and requirements of the M&S ‘Protecting the Brand’ Integrity Standard

  • Identifying claims and ‘at risk’ raw materials
  • Practical methodology for carrying out a product integrity assessment
  • Assess potential threats in the supply chain that could compromise integrity
  • Assess potential errors in the factory box that could compromise integrity
  • How to ensure your assessment is robust

Updates to the course from April 2019

  • Greater focus on justifying and demonstrating your approach
  • Questions to consider when establishing integrity controls
  • Ideas for Performance Indicators
  • Self-governance evidence for integrity verification
  • Spreading the message & integrity mindset

Two days

Aimed at:

Technical Managers, Quality Assurance Managers, Production Managers, NPD Managers and Procurement/Purchasing Managers who work on the M&S account.

No assessment, certificate of attendance
