Making Micro Results Meaningful Course Information
This live online 4-hour course is part of our Micro Short Series and provides an essential introduction to the topic of microbiological testing in food manufacture. It focuses on how to design the correct testing programme from the outset as well as understanding the results coming back from the laboratory to help inform decision making at a site level.
By the end of the course, you will understand what microbiological testing can and cannot tell you, as well how to design an appropriate testing programme for your operation. You will also be able to explain what results mean, and understand what is good, bad and concerning.
This course is aimed at those responsible for designing, implementing and managing factory microbiology testing programmes, as well as those receiving and acting on laboratory results. A basic understanding of microorganisms including pathogens, spoilage organisms and indicator organisms, as well as where they originate is recommended, as these topics will be covered as a refresher.
Cost: £275 + VAT per person, or book two separate live online modules for £500 + VAT (normally £275 + VAT each).
The price includes digital handouts, a workbook, and a certificate.
