Our Food Safety for Engineers course has been specifically designed to help engineering teams understand the food safety risks associated with their role and the practical controls needed when working within a food manufacturing environment.

The course looks at how engineering activities can affect product safety, from maintenance and equipment design through to foreign-body contamination, chemicals and lubricants, temporary repairs and the safe hand-back of equipment following engineering work.

The key aim is to help Engineers understand why food safety controls matter, where their activities can have an impact and what they can do to prevent contamination and protect the product.
