Description

We want to give you the opportunity to resit if you unfortunately fail your exam.  There are some specific details around each resit which you can find out below.

When do you do the revision sessions?

We will do resits on a day when we have an open course.  You will join the course from the start of the revision section, to give you chance ask the tutor anything you maybe struggling with and get more advice on exam technique.

After this revision session, you will be sent across to Highfield’s Remote Invigilation Service with ProctorExam, where you will complete the exam online.

Level 3 HACCP

We will enrol you on the whole course on our Learner Management System – Achieve, where you can do some sample exam questions and refresh your knowledge on HACCP.  The revision session starts at 1pm on the day have chosen.  The exam is usually at 4pm with the revision session ending at approx 3.15pm.  This allows for a break & all pre-exam checks to be done before the exam starts.  The exam is 1 hour long.

Level 4 HACCP & Level 4 Food Safety

We will enrol you on the whole course on our Learner Management System – Achieve, where you can do some online sample written exam questions before you come to the resit.  The trainer will mark them and give feedback which will help on your exam technique and help before the course begins.  The revision session starts at 9am on the day you have chosen.  The revision session ends around midday.  The exam is usually scheduled for 1pm.  This allows you to have a break, grab some lunch, and then do your pre-exam checks before the exam starts.  The exam is 2.5 hours long.

NB – If the Remote Invigilation service is not suitable for your place of work, please put a note on the booking and we will send a paper exam. You will need to get another member of staff to invigilate your exam for the full duration of the pre-exam checks to the end of the exam.  They will be in charge of being sent the paper. The invigilator will need to store the paper securely, adhere to exam conditions and finally, send the correctly completed exam back to us at the Office.  For more details on this, please contact us.
