Food Defence Refresher Open course information:
Are all of your current Food Defence team trained in Threat assessments/Food Defence principles? BRCGS V9 has a clause 4.2.1, which states “Where personnel are engaged in threat assessments and food defence plans, the individual or team responsible shall understand potential food defence risks at the site. This shall include knowledge of both the site and the principles of food defence. Where there is a legal requirement for specific training this shall be in place.”
This one-day complies with the V9 clause & covers both raw material & product threats and vulnerabilities to help your team consider and challenge the effectiveness of your assessments and practical mitigations. Our course provides a reminder of the key questions to ask and also expands your knowledge to ensure controls are current, valid and effectively verified.
Suitable for members of the VACCP/TACCP team and others with key responsibilities, a knowledge of Food Defence is essential. Bring your company’s risk assessments with you and find ways to improve your Food Defence assessments. You receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
